He is the author of The Presence of God: Its Place in the Storyline of Scripture and the Story of Our Lives. He is also the Director of Doctrine and Discipleship for Humble Beast and co-creator of The Canvas Conference.
Cynthia Mathai is a third-culture kid who was born and raised in Kenya and lived in Zimbabwe for a few years before moving to the United States. Cynthia works as the Associate Director of Finance at Warner Pacific College’s Adult Degree Program. She is a graduate of Western Seminary with a Masters in Ministry and Leadership. Cynthia is the volunteer Administrator for Verity Fellowship, a ministry of Western Seminary which exists to equip and train women to use the Bible well. He is a founding member of nationally known Christian hip hop group 116 Clique. Sho Baraka is also the founder of Forth District.

At home, she is known as wife to Preston and mommy to Eden.
