2018 was a big year for Humble Beast, one filled with changes and exciting opportunities. We want to briefly share with you what we were able to accomplish by God’s grace and with your support.

Jackie Hill Perry Album Release

We had the pleasure of releasing Jackie Hill Perry’s second studio album, Crescendo.

Beautiful Eulogy Instrumentals

We released the instrumentals for all three of Beautiful Eulogy’s albums.

Alert312 Album Release

We released Chicago hip-hop trio Alert312’s third full-length record, Joy King Supreme.

The New Testament from Streetlights

After 8+ years of hard work, our friends Streetlights made the entire New Testament available in audio form over a musical score, a project that involved many Humble Beast artists and staff.

A New Partnership Means More Books

In 2017, we announced that Humble Beast felt compelled to expand our ministry beyond music. One of the fruits of that decision this year was to partner with Patrol, a team of storytellers and artists telling fiction and non-fiction stories inspired by the Bible. This partnership will allow us to create resources in the form of books to equip both pastors and creatives.

Family News

This year, Humble Beast’s Thomas Terry and Bryan Winchester made notable transitions to vocational pastoral ministry. Bryan is now the lead preaching and teaching pastor of Saving Grace Church in Milwaukie, OR, and Thomas now serves as the Lead Pastor of Trinity Church of Portland.

3rd Annual Conference Equipping Creatives & the Church

We partnered with Austin Stone Worship and Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to bring you CANVAS 2018. Over the course of three days, we were able to help creatives find their place in the church, showing how a biblically defined, God-honoring theology can produce a greater and everlasting creativity.

A Free Christmas Concert

In December, we partnered with Ghost Ship and Trinity Church of Portland to present a free Christmas concert celebrating the birth of our Savior.

Restoring the Link Between Creativity & Theology

In partnership with Moody Publishers, Thomas Terry and Ryan Lister teamed up to communicate and restore the vital connection between creativity and theology as they released Images & Idols, a theological and artistic exploration of creativity in the Christian life.

Humble Beast is committed to sharing free resources in order to help reconcile creativity and the Church. Your support can help us continue to do that. Please consider giving a tax-deductible financial gift to Humble Beast before the end of this year (December 31st, 2018).

By God’s grace, your gift can help transform culture by supporting acts of creativity fueled by the beauty of the gospel. We need you to help make creative disciples and discipled creatives — all to display God’s glory and communicate the beauty of the gospel.

Thank you in advance for your prayers and partnership. Our ministry is for you and through you.

Every Blessing,

Thomas Terry
